The website www.toowoombachurch.org
is an initiative of the Christian Leaders’ Network which has the aim to serve all the Christians of Toowoomba and the wider community.
The Christian Leaders’ Network simply describes all the pastors and Christian leaders who come together every Thursday morning for prayer. On average about 40 pastors and Christian leaders from all denominations and affiliations come together for mutual encouragement and intercession. Among many mainline churches, charismatics, pentecostals, Presbyterians, Wesleyan Methodists, Salvation Army, Baptists and numerous others there is the strong Biblical understanding that all Christians are the children of God and therefore family. Jesus prayed for us to be one and therefore we need to be what we are: one for our city. CLN also engages with the support of Toowoomba Ministers Association (representing all Toowoomba churches) and the Toowoomba Churches Together (representing Roman Catholic, Uniting, Lutheran & Anglican).
The webpage ToowoombaChurch.org intends to address the following:
- Provide information and news relating to churches in Toowoomba.
- Provide teaching relating to unity and mission.
- Provide information relating to helpful resources to further unity and mission.
- Display a basic events’ calendar.
- Provide links to local churches and organizations.
