City Women Summit - Friday, 26 & Saturday 27 February 2010
William Wilberforce was a man who spent his whole life fighting for the freedom of slaves. His vision statement for his life was to "Champion the Liberty of the oppressed".
In Ecclesiastes 4:1 King Solomon makes this statement: So I again considered all the oppression that continually occurs on earth. This is what I saw: The oppressed were in tears, but no one was comforting them; no one delivers them from the power of their oppressors.
The desire for this Summit is that we are continually made aware of the realities of what females in our city are facing and that we ask Him to continue to equip us to help them.
